Middle School English and Social Studies Teacher

The Leffell School is a K-12 Jewish independent school in Westchester County, 30 minutes north of New York City, that emphasizes academic excellence, Jewish values, and a strong sense of community.

We are seeking an outstanding Middle School English and social studies teacher for a part-time position beginning immediately. The ideal candidate is capable of creating dynamic and active lessons that engage students in content while teaching critical skills, and is eager to join a professional team of colleagues committed to the belief that middle school children need both caring mentors and academically challenging instructors.

Qualifications: Experience and Master’s degree in education preferred.
